A full skein of KnitPicks Brava Worsted (100% acrylic) in the shade Mint:

Love the yarn (especially the mint) and the yarn bowl! Your friend Lauren is really talented!
gorgeous give a ways! would look perfect in my living room, 🙂 Am trying to find equivalent of the yarn you used in your CAL here in America. Suggestions? Or should I just order from the UK?
Thanks and keep hooking beautiful things!
For the CAL I did indeed order from overseas. If you want a cheap acrylic that is still nice and soft but is from the US, I’d go with the acrylic yarn featured in the giveaway: the KnitPicks Brava. They have it in Worsted, Bulky, and Sport weights. I did my blanket in DK weight yarn, but that doesn’t really matter — you could just change the size of your hook accordingly and make the blanket the size you desire. Hope that helps!

Heya just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you
know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure
why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the
same results.
That’s really strange. Which browsers did you try? I use Google Chrome and they’re working for me.
