What you can do with them:
Pretty much anything, from blankets to scarves to bags to potholders, and more!
Row 1: Make 17 ch, turn.
Row 2: Sc in second ch from hook, sc in each of next 15 ch. (16 sts) Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Skip first sc, sc in each sc across. (16 sts) Ch 1, turn.
Repeat row 3 until scarf is length desired. At the end of last row, tie off and weave in ends. Add fringe if desired.
If you want to make a similar scarf with half-double crochet, make 18 ch, hdc in third ch from hook, and use 2 ch when turning work.
If you want to make a similar scarf with double crochet, make 19 ch, dc in fourth ch from hook, and use 3 ch when turning work.
