I’m sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve been away because my uncle passed away last Tuesday morning and I’ve been in Arkansas for the funeral. My parents and I just got back to South Carolina late last night.
Needless to say, I haven’t had much time for crafting, but I’m in a bit of a rut anyway. I don’t know what project to start next — it’s so hard to decide. There are some WIPs to work on, but they might just get ripped out… *sigh* Hopefully something will jump out at me soon and I can get back to sharing crafty posts with you all.
Well, I guess that’s it. Just wanted to let you all know what is going on on this end. Talk to you soon!
My condolences to you and your family Hannah. So very sorry for your loss. ((hugs))

Sorry for your loss. Sometimes with projects it helps to go a totally different direction and try something new like a stitch swatch or anything that makes a different part of my brain work then the crafts start to click again.

Thank you! Yes, that’s probably what I need to do — try something new. Good idea!

Thank you for the update. So sorry for your loss. Sometimes creativity takes a little break when we are grieving or just too busy. That’s okay. It comes back and off you will go, doing something new. I am still “going to start” on one of your tutorials … I am nowhere near catching up! Yarn purchased …

Hi there, I’m also new subscriber, I’m so sorry for your loss but finding something to take your mind off your grief is always a welcome relief i find, i am hopefully going to start making my own stripey as you go blanket soon as yours turned out so gorgeous, an idea for a new project could be making a patchwork quilt, i’ve made a couple myself and loved it, especially picking different fabrics to create the mood of the quilt, anyways i hope you and your family are ok, lauren xox

Just wanted to add my sympathies to those already expressed, and say that the Ravellenic Games (knitting/crocheting during the Olympic Games with lots of other people) really got me out of my rut. I finished some socks, frogged a coat, and made a lace shawl plus some other stuff. Hope you find your crafting mojo again soon.
